Instructions For this Assignment

Beginner:

1. Buy a Hymnal ($12).....Find this song......and follow the music.....like it is being played on this page.

2. Call me and sign up for my hymn program........only $1 week for new folk with no money.....smile!

Instructions: You know the routine...

1. Write the melody line

2. Build the chords off the melody line

3. Add the 7th 9th and 13th chords and make it "Phat"

4. Add some fills and ii V I endings to give it a nice flavor...

5. If you have a Work station....add the horns, bass, strings, and modulate.....dress it up nice....

6. If you are advance classical player add a nice Richard Smallwood line in there to turn some heads..

7. If you are a COGIC organist......You know the routine......laughin......Jazz it up....and make into into a shout...

8. If you are a reader and the preacher want it as written........you know the routine.....

Goal: You have until the 30th of April of perfect this and add all the bells and whistles.....to make it sound good.....Yes! They shout off this song....And the Hammond B-3 master class organist will take you to the next level with solo licks and riffs on the chorus part....Yep! ....It can flow right into a Sunday Morning Praise Break......I been there and done that.....Yes! Just do it......Enjoy1
